Bloggers Against Torture

The technology being used in this article was a blog. The blog was being used to upload videos of people being tortured by the police. There are many advantages and disadvantages to this technology. The advantages are that we can show people around the world how others are being treated and can use these videos for evidence. The disadvantages would really just be that people now can show the entire world what is going on and nothing is really kept a secret. The winners would be the people who are being tortured because they now how evidence against the people causing the harm to them. The losers would consist of the people doing the torturing to the victims. This has a huge economic impact on society because now society can see how the government is treating civilians and the civilians can try and fight back for their rights. The ethical issues of this article would be that it shows people being tortured and who really knows if it is a real film. There also is no privacy so everyone will now know who you are, or they will be able to find out.
